MTX 5.2 Released

MTX 5.2 is out, with a redesigned Tickets tab and ticket summary.

Tickets tab

  • A View switcher puts Standard, Ticket Search, My Queue and the Quick views in one place, beside a Filters button and an SLA count.
  • Create your own views: describe the tickets you want in a sentence, or paste a screenshot of a ConnectWise view, then save it on the Tickets tab and keep it private or share it with your team.
  • Each column heading has its own filter icon, and every filter in use shows as a chip you can remove.
  • The Columns menu shows changes as you make them and adds a roomier Comfortable row height.
  • With tickets selected, the batch actions show in a bar above the list.
  • The company and contact show under the summary and the schedule beside the assigned member, so the list needs fewer columns.
  • Customer-updated, in-house and selected tickets are filled in colour, statuses show as coloured pills, and the toolbar keeps to two rows.

Ticket summary

  • The header shows the status, priority and board as pills you can change in place, with Work on Ticket, Schedule, Bundle and Split below them.
  • On wide screens the ticket's properties sit in a panel beside the notes, and the summary keeps its height as you move between tickets. On smaller screens they show in grouped cards above the tabs.
  • Properties show each label above its value, so nothing is cut off, and Work on Ticket's Ticket Properties tab matches.
  • The notes are a timeline, with day dividers and New marks on notes written since your last visit.
  • The most used tabs stay in view and the rest are under More.
  • On a phone the summary has a compact layout, with Work on Ticket always at the bottom.

Throughout MTX

  • The status, board and priority lists follow the light or dark theme and mark the current value. Choosing a status that needs work first, such as a TSI or open tasks, opens that work instead of being blocked.
  • Email View folds the quoted messages that are already notes on the ticket behind Show earlier messages.
  • The Edit Contact and New Contact windows show the contact's ConnectWise custom fields.
