Turn Off Merging Tickets

In ConnectWise, a merged ticket cannot be unmerged, deleted or moved to another board, and merged tickets left on a service board stop that board from being deleted. Administrators can now keep merging out of their technicians' hands.

Turn off Allow Ticket Merging in My Tickets settings, next to Allow Spectators. From then on, the ticket's Bundle prompt shows only Bundle, and the batch action is named Bundle Tickets. Nilear also refuses a merge from MTX for every member, administrators included, even from a page opened before the setting changed.

Bundling works as before, and tickets that are already merged are not affected. Technicians who are already signed in see the change the next time their settings load.
