Add Partner Center Customers to ConnectActive

ConnectActive has a new Partner Center tab. Connect it to your Microsoft Partner Center once, and it lists every customer tenant you manage, shows which ones ConnectActive already syncs, and adds the others without setting up a Microsoft 365 connection in each customer's tenant.

• Connect Partner Center. Enter your Partner Center domain, choose Request Authorization and sign in to Microsoft with an account in your CSP reseller tenant that has the Admin agent role. The tab shows while the authorization is being completed, keeps it current by itself, and tells you if it expires or is revoked so you can authorize again.
• See all your customers. Tiles count your Customers and split them into In ConnectActive, Not in ConnectActive, Not linked and Needs attention; select a tile to list just those customers. Search by company name, domain, tenant id or ConnectActive company, sort by name, domain or status, and Export the list as a CSV file.
• Check on the ones you sync. Each customer in ConnectActive links to its company and shows when it last synced. A failed sync, an inactive company or Partner Center access that failed marks the customer Needs attention.
• Add a customer. Choose Add, pick the ConnectWise company (the search starts with the customer's name) and confirm. ConnectActive creates the company if it is not set up yet, adds a Microsoft Partner Center source, and gets read access to the customer's tenant through your partner relationship. If the company already syncs another Microsoft tenant, you choose whether to add this one as an additional source. A company never syncs the same tenant twice, through Partner Center and Microsoft 365.
• Synced like Microsoft 365. A Partner Center source syncs the tenant's users, groups and licenses the same way a Microsoft 365 source does. The company's page shows the state of its Partner Center access, with Retry authorization if it fails.
• Set aside the ones you will not add. Don't link moves a customer to Not linked until you choose List again. Select several customers and choose Don't link selected to set them all aside at once.
