Turn Off Skill Prompts Without Losing Skill Management

MTX asks each member, during business hours, to confirm the skills marked Enable MTX to ask users about this skill in Skill Management. Until now the only way to stop those prompts for the whole account was to turn off Skill Management, which also hides My Skills, Skill Management and Queue Targeting Rules from everyone, administrators included.

  • Skill Prompts. Administrators can turn the prompts off under Settings > My Tickets, in the Interface section, with the new Skill Prompts switch. MTX then asks nobody about their skills, and the skill items stay in the MTX menu for whoever has them today. The per-skill Enable MTX to ask users about this skill boxes can still be set, ready for when the prompts are turned back on, and each skill notes that prompts are off.
  • Skill Management, described. The description of the Skill Management switch now says what it does: turning it off hides the skill items for everyone, including managers and administrators, and stops the prompts. To stop only the prompts, use Skill Prompts.
